Christine Sue Sturgell

Christine Sue (Rose) Sturgell, 75 of Rossmore, WV departed this life Monday, January 3rd, 2022, at her residence. She was born on January 29th, 1946, in Marrowbone, WV to the late Amos and Della (Browning) Rose. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dana Rose Sr.

She was of the Church of God faith.

Those left to cherish her loving memory includes two sons, Billy Joe Sturgell of Logan, WV and Dwayne Justin George of Huntington, WV; one daughter, Teresa (Larry) Hobbs of Rossmore, WV; two brothers, Ira Rose of Omar, WV and Jerry Rose of Switzer, WV; three sisters, Ruth (Harvey) Booth of Omar, WV, Esteen (CD) Wolford of Sarah Ann, WV, and Linda (Andrew) Hosch of Bolt, WV; three grandchildren, Taylor Hobbs, Cody George, and Zackary George.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Larry Hobbs for everything he done to care for his mother-in-law; she loved him dearly.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Monday, January 10th, 2022, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will include Dwayne Justin George, Larry Hobbs, Billy Joe Sturgell, Jerry Rose, Jared Farris, and Jamie Napier.

A visitation will be held an hour prior.
