Christina Evans

Christina (Maynard) Evans 71, of Rossmore, passed away at home on Saturday, March 24, 2018.  She was born October 10, 1946 in Logan to the Late William Abe and Letha Mae (Blankenship) Maynard.  She was a Postal Clerk at Rossmore and Wilkinson post office’s in WV and chose to dedicate her life for over 30 years to take care of her mother.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her son Donald Williams, and two brothers Ronald and Dana Maynard.  She is survived by one daughter; Marlena (Colin) (Williams) Jones of Huntington, three grandchildren; Jessica Skeans, John Abe Skeans both of Huntington, and Ricky Slone II of McCarr, KY, two great-grandchildren; Olly and Logan Hoyle both of Huntington, one sister; Eloise (Maynard) Collins of Chapmanville, one brother John (Roberta) Maynard of Wilkinson, and lots of aunts, uncles nieces, nephews, family and friends that will all miss her dearly.  Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with rev. C.D. Wolford officiating.  Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens.  Visitation will be from 6 to 9 P.M. Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the Funeral Home.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.
