Billy Joe Toler

Billy Joe Toler, 69, of Rum Creek sadly left us on February 20,2023 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Leander, and Betty Ruth Toler; son, Billy Toler Jr.; his grandson Levi Bowe; stepfather, Ed Toler; sister, Freda Hatfield; brothers, Virgil, and Roger Toler; stepbrothers, Waymon, Brady, Tracy, and Odell Toler; stepsisters, Navy Vance, Avis Brown, Edna Bunn, and Sarah Walls.

Those left to cherish his memory is his wife of forty-five years, Diana Gibson Toler; daughters, Lori (Russ) Cope of Cincinnati Ohio, and Leeann Toler of Rum Creek; grandkids, Taylor (Michael) Kirk, Kaylee Bowe, William, and Benjamin Cope; great grandkids, Ellie, and Miles Kirk; brothers, Harry Toler, and Donald (Pearl) Toler; and sister, Kay Bledsoe.

Bill loved his family more than anything. He loved when they were all home. Bill loved to fish, hunt, and ginseng. You could find him by the river fishing all the time. The entire Rum Creek community loved Bill. He would give the shirt off his back to help someone. Bill gave his life to the Lord in December, so we find great peace with that.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ronnie Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Pecks Mill, WV.

Friends may gather with the family from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Wednesday, February 22^nd, 2023, also at the funeral home chapel.
