Our dear Aunt Bertha, what a wonderful woman of God, she always had a smile, or words of kindness and encouragement, she made you welcome, we will miss you, we all loved you, but God loved you best. When He looked down He saw that you were tired, and He called, and you answered, you Rest High On That Mountain, because your work down here is done, tell my momma hello for me and we will see all of you on the streets of Gold where there is no crying, pain, where there will be singing, rejoicing with the Lord in His Kingdom where He prepared a place for all. You will be missed. I pray that these words will comfort your loved ones. Fly High my Aunt Bertha Carey.

I grew up on Logan Ave. where Bertha and Wilbur raised their family. What a beautiful family. Their children were the same ages as myself and my brother Foxy and sisters, Helen and Renie. Heaven has gained a true angel. RIP Bertha.

My Aunt Berths was the finest lady that I've ever known...she made me feel loved and I have great memories of playing on her porch in Logan listening to my cousins sing on albums and watching one of the greatest love stories unfold she and Uncle Wilbur, my grandmother Willie Bell had the closest bond with Aunt Bertha and the two of them showed us all how to take care of family....It's not over Aunt Bertha see you in Paradise! Ps 37:29
