Anita Rae Hensley

Anita Rae Hensley, 66 of Chapmanville, WV departed this life on Monday, August 8^th, 2023 at her residence. She was born on July 13^th, 1957 in Logan, WV and was the daughter of the late Walter Fred and Virginia (Talip) Sowards.

She worked as an office manager. She loved animals; she worked and help found an animal rescue.

Those left to cherish her loving memory includes one son, David Matthew Sowards-Conley; one brother, Fredrick “Tony” (Dianna) Sowards; two step-children, David Hensley and Candice Hensley; and a host of cousins who will all love and miss her.

In honoring her wishes, she will be cremated.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
