Exie Carter

Exie Tilda Carter, 57, of Wharncliffe, WV departed this life Wednesday, October 20th, 2021, at Tug Valley ARH Regional Medical Center in South Williamson, KY. She was born on November 28th, 1963 in Man, WV. She was the daughter of Joe and Laura (Carter) Hatfield.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her late husband, Jacky Carter; two brothers, Elmer (Enos) Hatfield and Bill Hatfield; two sisters, Martha (Tikky) Bryant and Ivy Christian.

Those left to cherish her loving memory and mourn her loss includes her fiancé, Chad Blankenship of Wharncliffe, WV; her children, Jesse Hatfield of Wharncliffe, WV and April (Chris) Toops of Delbarton, WV; her grandchildren, Madison (Hatfield) Kelly, Brenton Hatfield, Skyler Musick, Jason Musick, and Jaylon Musick; great-grandchild, Natalie Grace Kelly; siblings, Virgie Ferguson of Delbarton, WV and Paul (Lorrie) Hatfield of Hampden, WV; and a host of many other dear relatives and special friends.

Exie loved jewelry, her purple camaro, her music, and spending time with her family and friends.

Service information will be released at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Collins Funeral Home Inc. of Switzer, WV.
